| Question #1 Will my original photographs be harmed ?
No - we will scan your originals and work on the digital file. Your original photographs will be taken great care of as we realise that they are your treasured memories. Question #2 What if my photographs are a mix of Colour and Black & White ? This is not a problem. Depending on your wishes we can leave the finished print as a mix of the original colours or alternatively we can convert all the images to either Black & White or apply a Sepia tone to the finished Dreammontage. Due to the timescales involved we do not convert Black & White images to full Colour. Question #3 What if My originals are already damaged ? We include minor retouching and colour correction in the price. Photo restoration of major damage is very time consuming and therefore not included in the price. However, should you wish we would be happy to assess the damage and provide you with a separate price quotation for the work in addition to the charge for the Dreammontage Question #4 Why do I need to make payment before I see the finished print ? The artistic creation of your Dreammontage is as you can appreciate a very time consuming practice. For this reason we respectfully request £25 Deposit before work can commence. However, we send a finished "low resolution" Dreammontage (marked proof) to you for approval. We will send this either by e-mail or Royal Mail, depending on your preference. We then ask for full payment, prior to forwarding the final print. Question #5 Can I order reprints at a later date ? We will keep your scanned images and final Dreammontage on file for a period of 2 years. After this time you would need to resubmit your photos as a new request. |
